The Rhinos continued U.S. Open Cup play Tuesday night at Marina Auto Stadium when they hosted the Cleveland City Stars in a Second Round match. Rochester came from behind and would need overtime again to put away the Stars 2-1 to advance to the Third Round of the tournament and a date with the Columbus Crew.

Charleston advances to US Open Cup Third Round
The Charleston Battery defeated Miami FC Blues 1-0 Tuesday night at Tropical Park Stadium in the Second Round of the US Open Cup. Midfielder Tyler Hemming converted a second half penalty to propel Charleston into the Third Round where it will face Major League Soccer’s Chivas USA at Blackbaud Stadium on June 30.

The City Islanders will play the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer in New Britain, CT, on Tuesday, June 30th.

Ocean City lone amateur team to advance to Open Cup Third Round
The Ocean City Barons pulled off the biggest win in franchise history with a dramatic 1-0 victory over Real Maryland on Tuesday night in the Second Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. J.T. Noone converted a penalty kick in the second period of extra time to give the Barons their second straight win over a professional opponent in the 95-year old tournament. Ocean City becomes only the sixth amateur team to ever upset back-to-back professional clubs.
