 Michael Ferguson is a native of Overland Park, Kansas. 2007: He will be a junior at Loyola University - Chicago for 4th-year head coach Brendan Eitz.
In 2007 he was Horizon League Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Horizon League selection. he was named to the Horizon League All-Tournament team.
He ranked fifth on the NCAA national rankings in goals per game (0.79) and ninth in points per game (1.68)...ranks third on Loyola’s all-time single-season goals list with 15 goals...tied for fourth on the Ramblers’ all-time single-season chart with 32 points...named Horizon League Player of the Week on two separate occasions (9/24 and 10/15)...twice named to Soccer America’s National Team of the Week (9/24 and 10/15)...recorded hat tricks on two separate occasions against Cincinnati (8/31) and Wright State (10/12)...led the Horizon League in goals (15), goals per game (0.79) and game-winning goals (7)...scored the eventual match-winner in all five League victories pacing Loyola to a 10-5-4 overall mark and a 5-1-2 record in Horizon League action...helped the Ramblers capture their first-ever outright regular-season title.
In 2006: He was a member of All-Horizon League Newcomer team...tied for team lead with three game-winning goals...second on team with five goals and third with 11 points...second on team with 35 shot attempts...scored first two career goals against Buffalo (9/9)...credited with game-winning goals against Wright State (9/30) and at Xavier (9/15)...earned first career assist on game-winning goal against Eastern Illinois (9/10).
