Robert Younger will be a sophomore this coming fall at University of Illinois - Chicago for 4th-year head coach John Trask. This is his first season with the Fire Premier.
Robert is a native of North Lincolnshire, England where he was the captain on the backline for the Read School.. He also captained the Lincolnshire County F.A. U-18 team that reached the final four at the 2006 National Championship...also served as captain of the Lincolnshire School Boys County U-18 state team that reached the round of eight in the 2005 National Championship.
He spent six years playing with the Hull City Academy Youth Team under coach Peter Taylor. He also competed for the England School Boy U-18 squad that won the Centenary Shield and went undefeated in 2005-06.
His major is undecided at UIC.
