 Andrew Duran is a native of the Chicago-area (Mokena, IL and Lincoln-Way Central HS) will be a sophomore this coming fall at Creighton University (Omaha, NE) for 5th-year head coach Bob Warming.
Andrew was named the 2006 NSCAA National High School Player of the Year, National High School Coaches Association National High School Boys Soccer Senior Athlete of the Year and Illinois Player of the Year ... Two-time NSCAA High School All-American .
He twice earned all-state and all-conference honors and named team MVP as senior. He scored 10 goals and 10 assists in just 11 matches as a senior, as his season was cut short due to a broken foot.
He played club soccer for the Chicago Magic SC which was ranked the #1 boys soccer club in the nation. He had participated in multiple international events with the Region II Olympic Development Program during his prep years on the southwest side of Chicago.
He plans to major in business at Creighton. This is first season with the Chicago Fire Premier.
