 2006 SEASON: Kiers was forced to miss the entirety of the 2006 season because of a tear to her anterior cruciate ligament that was repaired during the preseason.
2005 SEASON: Kiers contributed early in her freshman year with the Skyhawks. She appeared in all 19 matches, starting eight. She scored her first collegiate goal in only the third match of her career against
Chattanooga during a 6-0 defeat of the Mocs. She would later add two more goals against Arkansas-Little Rock and Lipscomb. Kiers also tallied two assists on the year for a total of eight points for the season, which was the highest of any freshman on the squad. Kiers also led all freshmen in shots attempted with 21, putting 10 on goal for a .476 shots on goal percentage.

High School in
Smithville, Ontario . In addition to playing striker on the soccer team, Kiers was also point guard of the basketball team, setter on the volleyball team, and played doubles on the badminton team. Kiers all-around athletic performances earned her Female Athlete of the Year honors in 2003. Kiers also played for the St. Catharines Jets soccer club, part of the Ontario Youth Soccer League and continues to compete in the Ontario Women’s Soccer League.
PERSONAL: Jody Lynn Kiers is the daughter of Alfred and Ann Kiers and has two older siblings Kavi and Danielle and two younger siblings Megan and Teryl. She was born January 3, 1986 and is majoring in marketing with aspirations of one day making it a career.
