Professional Experience and Honors
A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Bennett led the Chicago Storm (Major Indoor Soccer League) rookies with 31 points during the 2007-08 season.  Making his scoring debut in his second match played on December 22nd against the Detroit Ignition, he went on to tally 12 goals, assisting on five others during the regular season.  The 5’9” midfielder spent the 2007 season with the Charleston Battery (USL-1), making 23 appearances and recording one goal. 

College Experience and Honors
Upon the conclusion of his collegiate career at Marian College, Bennett became the first Marian men’s soccer player to be offered a professional contract when he joined the Battery in 2007.  The 2006 Mid-Central College Conference Player of the Year holds Marian records with 49 goals and 19 assists in 45 games played.  Leading Marian to the MCC Tournament Championship in 2006, he earned NAIA All-American Honorable Mentions and was named to the MCC All-Conference Team his final two seasons.

Prior to joining the Storm, Bennett played four seasons in the Canadian Professional League (2001-2005) and one season with the Palm Beach Pumas of the Premier Development League.
