| Mark displays great field presence both in size and attitude. His record speaks for itself. At Quartz Hill High School Mark played Varsity soccer for 3 years and for 2000 - 2001 season was team Captain, First Team All League, First Team Daily News, First Team CIF Southern Section and Team MVP. In college at MSU Mark started 14 games as freshman & lead the team in goals with (9) and was offensive MVP. In 2002-2003 he was a starter and lead the team in goals with (11) & was also MVP. At SFSU in 2004-2005 Mark started at center midfield and scored 2 goals & 4 assists and was Humbolt State Tournaments MVP. In 2005-2006 he started as forward and lead the team in goals with (8) & points with (24) and he was also team captain, First Team All Conference (CCAA), 2nd Team All Far West Region, Chico State & Sonoma State Tournaments MVP. In 2006 with NPSL Sonoma Sol he played center-midfield where he tallied 4 goals and 8 assists. His team was Regional & National USASA champions but lost in the 2nd round of Lamar Hunt US Open Cup to the Charleston Battery of the USL First Division. | |
