 Drew DeGurian will be a senior this coming Fall at Bradley University for 12th-year head coach Jim DeRose. DeGurian is a native of Naperville, IL (Nequa Valley HS) and played his club ball with the Chicago Magic SC.
At Bradley DeGurian was named to the All Freshman Team in 2004 and was named Bradley Soccer Newcomer of the Year - 2004.
In his prep career he helped lead his school to a 28-1-1 overall record and the 2003 IHSA Class AA state championship. The team captain in 2003, DeGurian was Neuqua Valley’s second-leading scorer with 41 points on 13 goals and 15 assists. Among his many awards at Neuqua Valley HS , DeGurian was a first-team all-state selection by the Chicago Tribune and he earned second-team all-state honors from the Chicago Sun-Times.
In club soccer he was a member of the Chicago Magic, DeGurian helped his team to the 2003 U-17 USYSA national championship and was named to the Super Y-League Regional Team. DeGurian has played for the Premier Development League Chicago Fire Premier each of the last threesummer seasons (2004- 2006) and helped the perennial league power to the Great Lakes Division title for the past 3 summers.
He is majoring in cell and molecular biology at Bradley. | |
