Jata joins the Dynamo for his first season after transferring to
Campbell from Furman in the spring of 2006. His freshman season at Furman, Jata started 13 of 17 games, netted four goals and assisted on another three while leading the team in scoring. This past season at Campbell, Jata started 18 of 19 matches, scored seven goals assisted on another seven for a total of 21 points. Jata was awarded NSCAA All-South Region 2nd Team, NCCSIA All-State Team and the Atlantic Sun Conference 1st Team for his efforts. In high school Jata was named 2003-2004 Sunshine Athletic Conference Player of the Year, and Tampa Tribune Pasco County Player of the Year. Jata was the youngest player on IMG’s (
Bradenton ) PDL team as a sophomore, and scored 35 goals and totaled 19 assists in his two seasons at IMG. Jata trained with the U.S. U-17 National Team, and was a member of the
Florida
State and Region III ODP Teams. |
