 For a third straight season, Oduor was a stable, defensive-minded presence in
Harrisburg
’s midfield in 2006. The native of
Eldoret,
, appeared in 14 games (11 starts).
Oduor started 16 games (1,196 minutes) and scored two goals for the City Islanders in 2005. He also served as team captain for three early-season contests while Derek Potteiger was sidelined. Oduor was named to the USL-2 Team of the Week on April 26. Oduor emerged as a regular for
Harrisburg
late during the 2004 season, starting eight of the club’s last nine contests. He finished with three points (goal, assist).
Prior to joining the City Islanders, Oduor had played for the Carolina Dynamo and Long Island Rough Riders. He played the first two years of his collegiate career at the
University
of
Charleston
(
West Virginia
), where he earned All-American honors as a sophomore, before transferring to
Furman
University
for his junior and senior years. Prior to coming to the States, Oduor earned time with the Under-20 Kenyan National Team.
