The Revolution’s youngest member – 18-year-old Miguel Gonzalez – recently completed his first stint in the U.S. national team program when he played with the U.S. Under-20 Team at the Busan International Tournament in early September. Just two months removed from signing his MLS contract with the Revolution, the Miami-born, Cozumel, Mexico-raised Gonzalez earned his first youth cap and also scored his first international goal in the team’s 3-1 victory over Argentina. After he returned to the team, Gonzalez took the time to answer questions about his experience with U.S. Soccer and what he learned from his time with the youth national team.
