Split time between the midfield and at forward. Scored 24 goals and added 14 assists in 80 appearances for Duke. A two-time Blue Devil captain, Loftus was an All-ACC selection as a junior and an ACC All-Freshman team honoree. He scored one of Duke's two goals against UCLA in the 2006 NCAA Tournament quarterfinals. Helped the Blue Devils earn the nation's number-one ranking at the end of the 2006 season. Part of the 2005 Duke team that won the 2005 ACC Tournament.
