 With great height and physical strength,
Segovia
can play either as a center back or defensive mid. In 1994, he played in Universidad Catolica de Chile’s youth teams. He participated in tours through Holland, , , and . In 1997, he plays with the club’s First Division team, helping them win the Torneo Apertura Championship and reach the Copa Libertadores’ playoffs. In 1999, he plays for Union Española de Chile, team that won the Torneo Asenso Futbol Chileno Championship. In 2000, he played for Club Deportivo Antofagasta, and returned to Universidad Catolica in 2001.
Segovia
helped his club win the Torneo Apertura 2002 Championship. In 2004, he played with Club Deportivo Palestino de Chile prior to joining the Puerto Rico Islanders in 2006. In his first season with the Islanders,
Segovia
was named to the USL First Division All Star Team, USL All League First Team, as well as being a Defender of the Year Finalist. He returns to the Islanders for the 2007 season.
