Professional Experience and Honors:
2005:  In his first full season with the Kickers, Brown started 30 of 30 games played in the midfield, logging over 2,700 minutes.   He recorded two goals and two assists on the season, including a 30-yard equalizer at Vancouver on August 14th.  Mid-season, Brown was called up for his second appearance with the Senior New Zealand National Team for a friendly against Australia on June 9th.   
2004:  Brown joined the Kickers mid-season and made his professional debut on July 10th versus the Atlanta Silverbacks.  He broke into the starting lineup soon after when he scored the Kickers only goal in the exhibition match versus Nottingham Forest of the English First Division.  Injury forced Brown onto the sideline until the last regular season match against Montreal.  During post-season play, he recorded the Kickers first goal in the second leg of the Eastern Conference Semi-finals against Syracuse.

College Experience and Honors:
A 2004 University of Cincinnati graduate and soccer standout, Brown completed his collegiate career with the Bearcats as the second leading scorer with 15 points and six goals.  He garnered 2004 first team All-Conference USA honors while being named a NSCAA Scholar All-America and a CoSIDA Academic All-American.  In 2003, the 6’1” midfielder helped lead the Bearcats to a C-USA regular season championship as well as the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1998.  Over four seasons, Brown started all 71 of 71 games played, with 31 points total (12 g, 7 a) and represented the team as co-captain for three seasons.

International Experience:
Brown’s experience extends to the international level as he was called up to the Senior New Zealand National Team friendly against Australia in London on June 9, 2005.  Brown earned his first international cap on May 31, 2004 in a 3-0 win over the Soloman Islands during the Oceania Football Confederation Nation’s Cup Tournament.  Named the Miramar Rangers U23 player of the year, Brown also made the initial 24-man New Zealand U23 squad for the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
