Was a student for 2 years at Bolletieri Soccer Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Then he pursued a college career at Barry College in Florida where he was recognized on the 1st team All-Conference his freshman and sophomore years and on the 2nd team All-American his junior year. He was drafted by the New York-New Jersey Metrostars in the 2003 MLS Draft but played for the Seattle Sounders of the USL First Division in 2003 and 2004 before going back to his country in 2005 to play for the Puerto Rico Islanders.
