"All American" 2001-2004 of the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he still maintains the record for shutouts.  During his first year in the PDL, he had an excellent performance with the Blue Stars from Orange County.  He later became a substitute goalkeeper for MLS MetroStars.  His first professional experience was in 2005 with the Puerto Rico Islanders with an outstanding performance that ranked him among the best three goalkeepers in the league and was recognized as USL's Rookie of the Year.
