Other Professional Experience:  Prior to his time in the First Division, DaSilva built an impressive International playing resume. Before joining the Islanders in 2004, he played for Novo Hamburgo in the Bolivian B Series. While at Novo, he was named the third best foreign player in the Bolivian League. DaSilva began his career with Barra da Tiuca of Rio de Janeiro in 1995. He has also spent time with Independiente Petrolero Sucre of Bolivia and C.A. Bizertin in Tunisia.
