2005 Regular Season: (2005 Statistics: 20 GP, 1551 MIN, 5+9=14, 29 shots, 36 fouls)… Scored a goal for the third straight match in his return to the lineup on 7/18 at Minnesota…Missed two games due to an ankle injury (7/8 and 7/15)…Was named to the USL First Division Team of the Week for Week 11… Saw his first action as a Rhino on 5/15 at Puerto Rico , playing 83 minutes and recording three shots…

 

 

2004 Regular Season: (2004 Seattle Statistics: 14 GP, 1242 MIN, 2+5=9, 36 shots, 24 fouls)…Played 14 games with the Seattle Sounders (A-League), collecting nine points (2+5)…Scored one goal during the 2004 playoffs.

 

 

Other Professional Experience: Made his Major League Soccer (MLS) debut on October 4, 2003 with the Chicago Fire...In his first MLS start on October 26th, Bolaños earned his first point on an assist just three minutes into the match…was a member of the 2000 Costa Rican Olympic team, and earned five caps with the Costa Rican National team during the 2000 World Cup…Helped the Costa Rican team defeat the U.S. 2-1 in a World Cup qualifier in 2000 in Costa Rica…Played with Herdiano, a first division Costa Rican team and La Piedad (Mexico), where he led the team to the 2002 Clausura Championship…. Also played for CD Saprissa and LD Alajuelense in 2002 and 2003, (, 1st Division)

 

 

Amateur/College:  He joined the Costa Rican National program in 1994 with the U-17 team…Has played for the U-17, U-20 and U-23 team…. Played with the U-23 team until 2000, when he joined the World Cup squad…
