Returning for his sophomore season with the Battery, Goos tallied 5 goals and 3 assists for 13 points in his rookie year.

The Houston, TX native was a four-year starter at UNCG. In 2002, Goos was named the 2002 Southern Conference Player of the Year after leading the conference in scoring with 20 goals, including five game-winning goals, and 20 assists for 60 points. His 20-20 season made Goos just the 25th player in NCAA history to reach the milestone.
