Profile: Another prospect with a goal-scoring touch, Stone joins the City Islanders from Vanderbilt University. Stone was named to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Newcomer Team as a freshman in 2000 after scoring five goals and 14 points to finish second on the team. The 5-7, 160-pounder earned All-Conference Honorable Mention while serving as the Commodores’ captain in his senior year (2003). Stone, a native of Beaumont, Tex., was three-time first-team all-state and all-district honoree in high school.
