Bartholomew’s long goal in 2004 gave the Rage a double-overtime win against Harrisburg on June 19. A native of Media, Pa., Bartholomew, who began his collegiate career at the University of Washington in 2002, was the third-leading scorer for the University of Pennsylvania in 2004, finishing with five points. He is a graduate of the prestigious IMG Soccer Academy in Bradenton, Fla., which has also trained current or former Major League Soccer stars DeMarcus Beasley, Jon Busch, Tim Howard, and Kyle Martino.
