2004: Wicks wrapped up his stellar career at CSUB by virtually rewriting the Roadrunners's record book for goalkeepers…he holds the career records for most starts (79), minutes played (7,149), saves (358), goals against average (1.01) and shutouts (34)…Wicks also owns the season record for saves (120, 2002) and posted the second best marks in GAA in a season (0.59, 2004) and shutouts (12.0, 2004)…named to the NSCAA All–Far West Region second team and CCAA first–team…finished with 13–5–4 overall record and GAA of 0.59…recorded 12 shutouts including seven in the first nine matches…posted a cleansheet and made five saves against Cal State Dominguez Hills (11/7/04) in the CCAA Championship match as the Roadrunners won their first conference title since 2001…made eight saves against Dominguez Hills (11/12/04) and stopped all five shots in the shootout as CSUB advanced past the Toros in the first round of the NCAA II playoffs…scored first collegiate goal against Cal State San Bernardino
(9/14/05) netting the match–winner on a penalty kick in overtime.
2003: Another successful year for Wicks, posting a GAA of 1.19 and a record of 10-5-2...aside from a flukey 5-0 loss to Cal State Dominguez Hills in which four goals were scored in the final 20 minutes, Wicks goals against average was 0.96...recorded five shutouts, including making six saves to break CSUB’s career shutout record in his hometown against Cal State San Bernardino...recorded shutouts in two of the first three matches of the season...allowed more than one goal just six times during the year...was named to the 2003 Roadrunner Classic all-tournament team after recording shutouts in both of CSUB’s matches.
2002: Wicks started all 22 matches in 2002 and allowed 29 goals for a 1.28 goals against average...moved into the top three in a number of CSUB goalkeeping lists that year...had a scoreless streak of 379:09 with four consecutive shutouts at one point of the season.
2001: Wicks enjoyed one of the best seasons in CSUB history with eight shutouts and a 0.99 goals against average...had a scoreless streak of 491:56, the second longest in CSUB history and among the top 20 in NCAA history...made six saves while earning a shutout in his first collegiate start vs. Fresno Pacific (8/25/01)...made a season-high 12 saves in a 1-0 upset of No. 1 ranked Dominguez Hills (10/24/01)...allowed more than one goal in just five of 17 appearances and more than two goals in just two appearances.
CAJON HS: Wicks enjoyed a solid prep career at Cajon High School in San Bernardino...was an All-San Andreas League pick and team MVP at Cajon as a senior...posted 11 shutouts in 15 games.
PERSONAL: Wicks is majoring in physical education and kinesiology at CSUB...hopes to become a detective when his playing days are through...was born in Germany.
