Entering his eighth season with the Sounders, Burpo leads the team in
several all-time keeper statistics including games played (88), saves
(387) and minutes (7708). Burpo helped the Sounders win the A-
League Regular Season Championship in 2002. Before joining the
Sounders in 1997, Burpo played professional soccer with the Boston
Storm and New Hampshire Phantoms of the United States Interregional
Soccer League (USISL), and also played internationally with a
Jamaican 1st Division team. Burpo attended New Hampshire College,
where he received All-League and All-New England honors.
