Due to continuing injury in the Kickers back line, defender Jeff Hare was added to the lineup mid-season (2005) on laon from the Baltimore Blast of Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). A Richmond native, Hare made his Kickers debut last week in the 2-0 loss to Seattle.
Hare joined the Blast during the 2004-05 season when he made his first appearance against the Cleveland Force on December 4th. He recorded his first professional indoor goal on February 2nd against the Philadelphia KiXX. Overall, he appeared in 23 matches with the Blast and tallied one goal and two assists.
A four-year starter at Princeton, Hare led the team in scoring with eight points his senior year. He captained the team for two years and was named All-Ivy League for three consecutive seasons. The St. Christopher’s product spent two seasons with the Richmond Kickers Future (2002, 2003) and was on the PDL squad that earned the Mid-Atlantic Division Champion title (2003). While with the Future, he amassed 2,594 minutes over 29 games played and recorded four goals and one assist. |
