Professional Experience and Honors: 2004: Matt made his A-League debut with the Kickers on July 10th in Atlanta and joined the starting lineup against D.C. United during the U.S. Open Cup Fourth Round match. Solid defensive play led to two consecutive starts as O’Toole appeared in six games total this season. 2003: O’Toole played 19 games for 1,644 minutes with the 2003 Regular Season Champion Carolina Dynamo of the Pro Select League as a starter at left back. He also trained with the New England Revolution in the Fall and with the Columbus Crew in the Spring of 2003. 2002: Matthew played left back for the New England Cup Champion Connecticut Wolves of the Pro Select League. He appeared in 14 games for 875 minutes. 2001: O’Toole trained with the Bohemians of Ireland’s Eircom League
College Experience and Honors: O’Toole was a four-year started at Providence College in Rhode Island. At left back, he started 64 of 65 career games played.
Personal: Matthew enjoys coaching in his spare time and is the assistant coach at the University of Richmond. He also has assistant coaching experience at Wheaton College (2002-03) where he helped lead his team to the NCAA Final Four.
