CAREER
In 2004, helped the Impact play 12 straight games without a loss (8-0-4), a club record, and go on to win the championship title... Played his first four seasons in the USL with the Toronto Lynx... Played in a minimum of 20 games per season from 2000 to 2003 inclusively, for an average of 2,092.5 minutes spent on the field per season... Was proclaimed Lynx Defensive Player of the Year in 2001... Only missed a total of 16 games in four seasons... Toronto only won one game in his absence... Scored his first career goal in the USL June 15, 2002 against Calgary... Kicks with the left foot...

INTERNATIONAL
Kicked off his career in his native country, Argentina, with Defensores de Salto, as well as San Lorenzo... Was signed by the Lynx following an impressive performance at the Copa Latina tournament in Miami...

2004 SEASON
Played over the winter with the Philadelphie Kixx in the Major Indoor Soccer League... Was obtained by the Impact from the Lynx in February in return for young defender Andres Arango... Was reunited with Peter Pinizzotto, his former coach with the Lynx who became assistant to head coach Nick DeSantis… Started 24 of the 26 games he played in, for a total of 2,243 minutes of play… One of five players on the team to play more than 2,000 minutes… Was a key element on the Impact defensive line that was the best in the league with only 15 goals allowed in 28 games… Contributed to the team’s stretches of eight straight shutouts and 773 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal, two team records... Helped the team collect a total of 19 shutouts, a league record... Was the Impact’s best offensive defender with two goals and four assists over the regular season… Scored his first goal with the Impact May 28 in a 4-1 win over his former team, the Toronto Lynx… Scored a game-tying goal June 20, in a 1-1 tie also against the Lynx… Started all five playoffs games, for a total of 313 minutes of play... Scored the game-winning goal in the championship final, which the Impact won 2-0, against the Seattle Sounders on Sept. 18, after being hospitalized the night before for a serious gastroenteritis…
