 Bio:
Evans will return to Charleston for a second year after spending the 2003 season with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Evans led the Battery in minutes played in 2002 with 2,618 scoring 4 goals and adding 2 assists.

Evans chose to play in his home-town, Pittsburgh for the 2003 season. He led Pittsburgh in games played (25) and minutes (2,333). Evans scored twice and also contributed 2 assists.

Evans began his pro career in 1999 with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in their inaugural year. He led the team in assists (14) and minutes played (2,501). His 14 assists were second best in the A-League for that season. In the fall of 1999, Evans played for Petro Plock of the Polish First Division, starting 6 games and scoring 1 goal.

Evans was drafted in the second round of the 2000 MLS SuperDraft by the San Jose Earthquakes and appeared in 13 matches, starting nine games before being traded to the Chicago Fire. He played in 8 games for the Fire recording 1 assist, before moving midway through the 2001 season to the Dallas Burn. With the Burn, he played in 9 matches, including 2 playoff games.

At college while at St. Bonaventure, Evans was the team's leading scorer with 17 points (six goals, five assists), and was also named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team. Prior to St. Bonaventure, he spent his first three seasons of college soccer at Penn State, collecting one goal and eight assists.
