Professional Experience and Honors:

2002:  One of just three current players to have logged over 10,000 minutes in a Richmond Kickers uniform, Tony Williams battled knee problems early in the season but came back in early June and proceeded to lead the team in assists, with 6.  In the past five seasons, Williams has appeared in more games than any other Kicker (147), and is currently third on the all-time list of matches played behind defender Josh McKay (151) and forward Rob Ukrop (179).

2001:  Tony Williams was second on the team in game winning goals in 2001 with three, including a 20 yard blast in the 16th  minute of overtime in a crucial 2-1 Central Conference win over the Atlanta Silverbacks on August 25th.

2000:  For the 4th straight year Tony eclipsed the 2,000 minute mark while ending up tied for 3rd on the team in goals scored with four.

1998-1999:  During this stretch Tony fell one game shy of the consecutive matches played record (53) set by John Hall in 1995-96.  An outside midfielder with speed, good vision, and high work ethic, Tony has accumulated 13 goals and 14 assists for 40 points in his Richmond career, moving him into sixth place on the all-time list.

College Experience and Honors:

As a four-year starter for the Clemson Tigers, Williams had 19 assists and 6 goals for 31 points.  In his senior season he led the team with 7 assists.

National Experience:

In 1995 Tony was a member of the Under-21 United States National Team.
