 Bio:
Professional Experience and Honors:

2002:  Played in 30 games for the A-League Champion Rampage including all 106 minutes of the Finals vs. the Kickers.  Recorded 2 goals and 2 assists for 6 points.

2001:  In his second season with the Rampage, Russell was one of the team’s ironmen, finishing fourth on the team in minutes played and averaging more than 84 minutes per game.  His only goal of the year came in a 4-0 win over Nashville on August 11th.

2000:  Russell made his debut with the Rampage on June 10th in a 4-1 victory over U.S. Pro-40.  His first goal came in a 5-2 win over Cincinnati when he opened the scoring in the 25th minute.

1999:  In his rookie year, Russell appeared in 29 games for the now-defunct New Orleans Storm, amassing 6 goals and 5 assists for 17 points.

College Experience and Honors:

Russell attended Georgia Southern University where he was a four-year starter from 1995-1998.   He is currently second in career points with 90.  He scored 30 career goals and assisted on 30 others.  In 1997, Jason led GSU in points with 27.  He was named All-Southern Conference in 1996 and 1997 and an All-Souther Conference Tournament selection in 1995.  The 1997 team was ranked as high as 14th nationally.
