Most soccer fans in SoCal would believe that the Strikers dreamed that caption the night before their match against the storied Pali Blues. However, it wasn’t a dream; it actually happened last Saturday in front of a sizable crowd at Palisades High. The Strikers’ determined squad, led by new head coach Tracey Kevins, took the field knowing that the Blues had only been beaten in their home stadium once in the last six years, but they came out swinging with a quick offense and stingy defense.
