Late Goal Lifts BYU To Victory Frischknecht scores first goal for Cougars in win The BYU Cougars took the lead in the final minutes of the game for their first home win 1–0 against the Southern California Seahorses on Friday night at BYU South Field. In the final minutes of the game, incoming freshman Blake Frischknecht scored his first goal for BYU in his season-debut. Bryson Pope assisted Frischknecht in a heart-stopping duel with the Seahorses goalkeeper, Hayden Coffman.
