The River City Rovers held the Indiana Invaders to a tied score of 1-1 on Friday night at Centurion Soccer Field as Albert Edwards scored off a penalty kick in the second half to earn his side a point. With overcast skies and a humid temperature in the high 80’s, the teams battled hard throughout the match. The Rovers had the majority of possession during thhe first 20 minutes, but the game was delayed for five minutes when Invaders defender Kerel Bradford took a bad spill in the 17th minute, causing a five-minute delay on field.
