The Santa Clarita Blue Heat, the 2011 W-League Western Conference regular season champions, are pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Rodwell as the club’s new coach for the 2013 season. Rodwell is a former professional player who played for five seasons in England with Blackpool from 1990-94. A midfielder, Rodwell helped his side reach promotion to League One as the Seasiders took victory against Scunthorpe United in a penalty shootout in the League Two Playoff final at Wembley.
