The Northern Virginia Royals and the Central Jersey Spartans battled to 2-2 draw last night at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. The final score was reflective of the see-saw match itself as the statistics for each side mirrored one another as well. When the game began thirty minutes late from a weather delay in the previous W-League match, both sides launched energetic attacks at each other in a preview of the night ahead. The Spartans jumped ahead first in the game, as Ryan Kinne finished a nifty shot on a pass from teammate Nelson Beccera in the 16th minute.
