All but two of the 13 players selected in the WPS Expansion Draft on Tuesday were veterans of USL’s W-League. Philadelphia’s first selection was former Washington Freedom midfielder Lori Lindsay, who played in 28 matches with the W-League Freedom from 2007-08. Over those 28 matches Lindsay netted nine goals and added 11 assists. She started 18 of 19 matches for the Freedom in WPS this season, finishing the year with 1,569 minutes played.
