Hucles announces retirement Former Piranha, Renegade calls it a career Former W-League player Angela Hucles, the U.S. Women’s National Team’s leading scorer at the 2008 Olympics, has announced her retirement from competitive soccer. The 31-year-old Hucles, who played the inaugural season of Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) with the Boston Breakers, hangs up her cleats having earned 109 caps for the USA while scoring 13 international goals.
