Farrelly is a rising junior for the University of Virginia women’s soccer team as a forward/midfielder.

In 2007, she earned Top Drawer Soccer Co-National Rookie of the Year and first-team SoccerBuzz and Soccer America Freshman All-America. She was named first-team All-ACC, second-team NSCAA All-Mid Atlantic Region, ACC All-Freshman Team, first-team VaSID All-State, and Virginia Nike Soccer Classic All-Tournament Team.

She started all 23 games of the season and ranked third on the team in scoring with five goals and four assists. Three of her five goals were game-winners.

She is also a member of the U-20 National Team Pool and has appeared for the United States at the U-17, U-16, and U-15 levels.
