Match Continuation Due to Lightning
The match originally began May 28 at Richmond's Sports Backers Stadium, but was called due to lightning. Per league rules for a game that has not reached halftime, the match was continued from the point of cancellation. Although the match continues from the point of termination, the second part adhere's to rules of a new game in regards to discipline (red/yellow cards) and substitutions. Due to scheduling complications, the continuation of the match was held at a neutral site and hosted by the Charlotte Lady Eagles.
