LUDLOW, MA -- The Western Mass Pioneers gear up for their final two games of the season at home against Harrisburg and away to Charlotte.

The first game kicks off at home, where the Pioneers have been solid all season long. Lusitano Stadium will host the battle between the Harrisburg City Islanders (9-6-4) and the Pioneers (5-8-5) on Wednesday, August 12 at 7:30PM.

The Pioneers look to disprove their road weariness when they square off with the Charlotte Eagles for their season finale. This showdown will take place at Charlotte Christian on Saturday, August 15 at 7PM.

In attendance on Wednesday’s game will be representatives from the Springfield Armor. This newly established men’s professional basketball team (of the NBA D-League) will have a booth set up at the stadium. Fans will be able to gather information on another one of Western Mass’ up and coming sports developments. The Armor will be preparing for their inaugural season.

Also on Wednesday, the Pioneers will celebrate the Valley Junior Soccer League spring champions. Their special achievements will be honored.
