Rochester had a chance to get on the board first after Johnny Menyongar was taken down in the box. With the ensuing penalty kick attempt defender Kenney Bertz Stepped up only to miss wide to Miami ‘keeper Kenny Schoen’s right.

Rochester applied pressure regularly throughout the first half just missing a chance to take a one goal lead in the 33rd minute when Errol McFarlane found the feet of Menyongar, who laid the ball off to Danny Earls. Earls' left-footed blast from 20 yards sailed high over the bar.

Six minutes later the McFarlane challenged a cross sent into the box by Menyongar, but his header narrowly missed the top corner.

The second half began with the score knotted at zero. Throughout the remainder of play neither team was able to find the net to earn three points.

Rochester will close out the regular season on Friday when they host the Charleston Battery at Marina Auto Stadium.
