Jesters and Pirates Battle to Draw

June 27, 2009

New Orleans, LA ––  The New Orleans Jesters’ first game against the Panama City Pirates ended in a draw at Pan American Stadium. Tonight’s game followed a 1-1 tie against the Nashville Metros on Saturday night.

Though neither team scored, the game was intense and the crowd of over 500 fans cheered loudly for their favorite players.

“I can’t complain,” said Jesters’ head coach Kenny Farrell. “In the last two games we’ve created at least 20 chances for goals. I’d be more worried if we were not creating chances. Our players are dominating and I’m very proud of them.”
Player PJ Kee was issued a red card in the 85th minute of the game.
The Jesters’ next game is away on Saturday, July 4th at the Mississippi Brilla. Their next home game is on July 11th against the Baton Rouge Capitals. During those teams’ first meeting, the score was 1-1.
