LANGFORD, BC - The Highlanders of the USL’s Premier Development League meet the Aztex: 2-1 losers to the Vancouver Whitecaps before 5,288 fans on Sunday at Swangard Stadium — in an exhibition game [Tuesday night] at 7PM at Bear Mountain Stadium in Langford. Campbell said the result is not a foregone conclusion as teams from lower levels have been known to rise up in such soccer games. “The Whitecaps [USL] beat Toronto FC [of Major League Soccer] during a tournament this summer so anything can happen on any given day in this sport,” noted Highlanders Owner Alex Campbell.
