TAMPA, FL -- Austin Aztex club owner Phil Rawlins was recently included in the FourFourTwo.com Football Rich List for British soccer for the second consecutive year. The owner of the USL-1 and PDL teams is also a Director and part-owner of Stoke City of the English Premier League.
The British magazine's website lists Rawlins at an estimated worth of 30 million pounds, which ranked him tied for 69th among their top 100 along with several others, including Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand and England manager Fabio Capello.

Rawlins began his career in Europe with Olivetti. From there he joined Hewlett-Packard working first in sales, before joining the UK sales training department. Leveraging a keen entrepreneurial spirit and deep insight into the sales process needs of high-tech companies, he left HP in 1989 and founded The Sales Consultancy (TSC). TSC specialized in sales training and consulting and quickly grew to have operations in the UK, France and Germany. In 1994, Rawlins expanded the company's geographical reach even further by relocating its headquarters to the United States. At TSC, Rawlins authored a number of new sales and marketing processes including the Enterprise Selling Process (ESP), and CHAMP (Channel and Alliances Management Process), these processes are today utilized worldwide by many of the leading high-tech companies.
Five years after setting up the operations, Rawlins oversaw the merger of TSC with Target Marketing Systems, of Atlanta, GA. At the resulting company, OnTarget, Rawlins had functional responsibility for all product development, including software tools.
In 1999 the company was acquired by Siebel Systems, at the time of the acquisition OnTarget had annual revenues of $50M and 18 offices worldwide. Rawlins left Siebel in 2001 to concentrate on his other business interests and directorships.
Until 2004, Rawlins also sat on the council of his hometown university, Keele University in Staffordshire, England.
He currently sits on the following boards and has ownership interests in the following companies:
