Lincoln Roblee is in his seventh year as assistant coach for the Kansas City Brass of the Premier Development League. In that same time the Brass has improved their record in 5 of the past 6 PDL seasons and has qualified for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup (2007). Today the KC Brass is considered one of the nation’s top amateur teams for players with professional soccer ambition. In the past six years 24 KC Brass players have been drafted or signed professionally by clubs in Europe, Major League Soccer, USL-1 or the Major Indoor Soccer League.
Lincoln Roblee is also entering his fourth season as the head coach of the Benedictine College Lady Ravens program. Since his arrival, Roblee has led Benedictine College to becoming a regional power and nationally ranked team. In 2007 Benedictine were Regional Playoff Finalists and went 15-3-3 on the season. In 2006, Roblee’s second season at Benedictine, he lead the Lady Ravens into the Playoffs and a Regional Playoff victory over Lindenwood, eventually ending the season with a record of 12-4-2. In 2005, Roblee’s first season, he guided the women’s soccer program to a record of 10-5-2. In his three years, Roblee’s Ravens are 37-12-7, producing 5 All-Americans, 3 Academic All-Americans, and 17 All-Conference players. Always excelling in the classroom , the Benedictine Women’s Soccer team was also honored in 2007 with the NSCAA Team Academic Award. The 2007 Benedictine Women’s Soccer team was also honored with the NSCAA Team Ethics Award.
Coach Roblee has been very involved in teaching the game of soccer in his native Kansas City. Roblee started his coaching career in 1994 at Kansas City’s Park Hill High School. Roblee went on to coach Club, Amateur, Olympic Development Program, College, and in the Premier Development League.
Roblee started KC Pace boys soccer teams in 1996 with his twin brother Jefferson Roblee. Roblee coached the 80/81 KC Pace team to numerous successes across the Midwest, and in 2005, Roblee’s 87/88 KC Pace became the first team outside of St. Louis to win a USYSA Missouri State Championship in an age group that advances to Regionals. In 2005, Coach Roblee was named Missouri Youth Soccer Association Boys Coach of theYear. In the summer of 2006, Roblee’s KC Pace team repeated as Missouri State Champions.
Roblee coached the KC United boys team to U19 youth and U20 amateur Kansas State Championships in 2000 and 2001. Roblee has been a Missouri ODP Evaluator since 1998, and coached the 1987 Missouri ODP Boys team from 2001-2004.
Roblee was a regular instructor for the Kansas City Wizards Youth Training Program from 2001-2005. In 2003 Roblee coached the Missouri seniors in the annual Kansas vs. Missouri Senior All-Star Game at Arrowhead Stadium.
Roblee is a member of U.S. Soccer Coaches Association and a certified Double-Goal Coach in the Positive Coaching Alliance.
As a player, Roblee played at the University of Tulsa under current Notre Dame women’s Head Coach Randy Waldrum. In high school Roblee starred at Winnetonka High School and was a member of Missouri’s ODP team. In club soccer, Roblee was a forward and midfielder for George Derra’s UHS Apollos.
Roblee is a graduate of Winnetonka High School and Park University. |
