Goalkeeper Chris Doyle, is returning to the Battery for his second year. During his rookie season in 2003, he had a GAA of 1.02 in six games. Doyle was a four-year starter at the University of Hartford. In 2001, Hartford progressed to the NCAA tournament but lost on penalty kicks in the 1st round.

A native of Dublin, CA Doyle graduated with a degree in Communications.
