PITTSBURGH – Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC announced on Friday the club had signed former USL All-League selection and USL Golden Boot-winner Dennis Chin to a one-year deal with a club option for the 2019 season, pending league and federation approval.

Chin joins Riverhounds SC after most recently playing for Ironi Nesher F.C. of Liga Leumit, the second tier of professional soccer in Israel. A two-time USL Cup-winner with Orlando City SC, Chin scored 22 goals over four seasons with the Lions and claimed the USL Golden Boot with 11 goals in the 2012 campaign. The same season he was named to the USL All-League First Team.

“Dennis is a proven winner and goal-scorer in our league,” Riverhounds SC Head Coach Bob Lilley said. “His speed and ability to get behind the defense makes him a constant threat for opposing teams. We also look forward to having his experience and leadership on and off the field.”

After his time in Orlando, Chin joined Phoenix Rising FC, before moving to Ottawa Fury FC the following year. Midway through the 2016 season he was transferred to Ironi Nesher and recorded five goals in 29 appearances for the Israeli club during the 2016-17 campaign.
