27 regular-season contests to air through partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville SC announced on Friday an extensive television partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group that will see 27 of the club’s USL regular season matches in 2018, including all 17 home matches, aired on WUXP – MyTV30.

The club will also see content surrounding Nashville SC’s inaugural season in the USL appear on Sinclair's other stations, Fox17 and CW58.

“This partnership will bring Nashville Soccer Club to all of middle Tennessee,” said Nashville SC CEO Court Jeske. “Demand for tickets this year is extremely high and we want to ensure that all fans can follow the club at home and on the road. Through our partners, Fox-17 and MyTV30, we are able to do that and bring Nashville SC into the homes of our fans, free of charge.”

Nashville welcomed 9,059 fans to its inaugural preseason contest against Atlanta United last Saturday at First Tennessee Park, and this week announced it had moved its inaugural home opener against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday, March 24 to Nissan Stadium – home of the NFL’s Tennessee Titans – due to demand for tickets. The new partnership with Sinclair highlights the manner which the club has caught the imagination of fans throughout the region, and beyond.

“There is no denying the excitement that has surrounded Nashville Soccer Club since its arrival,” said Sinclair general manager Noreen Parker. “Viewers of our Sinclair Broadcast Group television stations in Nashville (MyTV 30, Fox 17, and CW 58) want more live, local sports. That is why MyTV30 is a perfect fit for the Nashville Soccer Club Live soccer games. We are proud to be the Official Broadcast Partner of Nashville SC and the broadcaster of seventeen home games and ten away for the 2018 season and beyond! Soccer is a part of our town and our station!”

Sinclair Communications owns Fox17 and operates CW58 and MyTV30 in the Nashville area. The three stations are available over the air throughout Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.
