INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Eleven announced on Wednesday it had signed former Sporting Kansas City midfielder Tyler Pasher for the 2018 USL season, pending league and federation approval.

A two-time USL Western Conference champion with the Swope Park Rangers over the past two seasons, Pasher said he was looking forward to joining Head Coach Martin Rennie’s squad for the new season.

“I am extremely excited to be joining Indy Eleven for this upcoming season,” stated 23-year-old Pasher. “I’m really looking forward to preseason, getting started with the team and hearing the cheers of the best supporter group—the Brickyard Battalion.”

Pasher has made 76 appearances in the USL over the past three seasons, helping the Pittsburgh Riverhounds reach the USL Cup Playoffs in 2015 before spending the past two seasons in Kansas City. Pasher recorded five goals and seven assists across his two seasons with the Swope Park Rangers, with the second spent on loan from SKC after the Canadian was signed to an MLS contract last offseason.

The 23-year-old also made his MLS debut in 2017, appearing against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on May 20, while also featuring for SKC in the CONCACAF Champions League, where he appeared in the group stage in 2016.

“Tyler is a dynamic left sided player who has established himself as one of the best in his position in the USL level,” said Rennie. “He will bring great athleticism and quality to our team.”
