Prior to his professional career the 22-year-old appeared in 13 games with the Charlotte Eagles of the Premier Development League, where he scored four goals. Siaj also had a strong collegiate career at Pfeiffer University, where he recorded 47 goals and 28 assists in 69 appearances, helping the side claim the NCAA Division II National Championship in 2015.

Siaj and Energy FC teammate Jose Barril are both products of the Real Madrid Youth System.

REPUBLIC FC ADDS DIAZ: Sacramento Republic FC added to its goalkeeper contingent on Tuesday with the signing of Rafael Díaz for the 2018 season, with a club option for the 2019 season, pending league and federation approval.

Díaz joins Republic FC following three successful seasons with the New York Red Bulls organization. A former standout at St. John’s University, the 26-year-old originally joined the Red Bulls II after playing the 2014 season with Orlando City SC. He spent two seasons with Red Bulls II, claiming the USL Cup in 2016, before signing with the Red Bulls in 2017.
