Veteran goalkeeper is second offseason addition by Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced on Thursday it had signed veteran Haiti international Steward Ceus for the 2018 season as its second offseason addition to the squad.

Ceus has made 11 appearances for Haiti since making his debut in 2010, and was named in his country’s squad for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup and 2016 Copa America Centenario. He most recently played for the San Francisco Deltas, where he served as a back-up on the championship-winning side.

Selected in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft by the Colorado Rapids, where he spent five seasons, Ceus has also previously competed for Atlanta Silverbacks and Minnesota United FC. He joins returning Switchbacks goalkeeper Moise Pouaty in Colorado Springs’ goalkeeping corps for the new season.
